You do not have to bring your own bike to Czech Canada. The resort offers e-bike rental, so you can set off without transporting your own equipment. Current conditions and prices are available in the services price list.
If you bring your own bike, you can store it safely in the bike room. You can also charge your own e-bike free of charge there during your stay. This makes it easy to plan several longer stages on consecutive days.

For an easy ride or e-bike trip:
Start with the shorter Peršlák loop or the route to Austria’s northernmost point. Both can be completed in part of a day, leaving enough time for stops.
For recreational cyclists:
Landštejn or the Czech Canada loop offers roughly 34–41 km and combines nature, history and quieter roads.
For a full-day ride:
The Staňkov Pond route via Austria or the long loop to Slavonice is suitable for more experienced cyclists and works very well on an e-bike.
For gravel and MTB:
The region has plenty of gravel, field and forest roads. If you want more off-road riding, choose wider, more robust tyres; after rain, expect unpaved sections to be slower and more difficult.

Practical tips for cycling in Czech Canada
You can ride many of the recommended routes on a trekking or gravel bike. If you want to leave the main cycling routes and explore more forest tracks, a mountain bike or gravel bike with wider tyres is the safer choice. Cycling discussions frequently mention that quieter riding can often be found away from the main cycling corridors and towards the Austrian border.
Forest and field roads can become considerably slower and more difficult after rain. Before a longer ride, we recommend checking current accessibility in Mapy.com and choosing the right type of bike for the weather.
Several of the most attractive loops cross the national border. Take a valid travel document, basic repair equipment and enough water for longer rides. On an e-bike, plan according to elevation gain, not just kilometres.
Where a GPX file is available, download it and import it into the Mapy.com website or mobile app. You can then save the route and use it during your ride.
Accommodation, bike room, e-bikes and wellness after your ride
Bringing your own bike? You can store it in the bike room during your stay. Your own e-bike can be charged there free of charge.
You do not need to transport a bike. Rent an e-bike directly at the resort and start your trip from here.
After your ride, enjoy the 25-metre pool, whirlpools or Wellness & Balneo.
For a cycling stay, choose the accommodation style that suits you: accommodation in Czech Canada, hotel rooms with half board or standalone houses for 4–6 guests.
For an easier ride, we recommend the approximately 25 km loop via Peršlák or the route to Austria’s northernmost point. For families, always consider the children’s age, usual fitness level and current surface conditions.
Some of the most interesting destinations are Landštejn Castle, Peršlák, Staňkov Pond, Litschau, Reingers, Slavonice and the forested area between Nová Bystřice and the Austrian border.
Yes. E-bikes are particularly useful for longer loops and routes with more elevation gain. On long routes, however, we still recommend monitoring battery level and keeping some reserve.
Yes. The resort offers e-bike rental. Check current prices and conditions in the services price list.
Guests can store their own bikes in the bike room. You can also charge your own e-bike there free of charge during your stay.
A trekking bike, gravel bike or e-bike is suitable for most of the routes listed here. If you plan more unpaved and technical forest sections, we recommend a mountain bike or wider tyres.
Yes. Cross-border cycling is one of the biggest advantages of this area. Routes run via places such as Peršlák, Haugschlag, Litschau and Reingers, and some connect to EuroVelo 13.
After your ride, you can use the pool, whirlpools and Wellness & Balneo or visit the hotel restaurant.
Czech Canada is worth exploring over several days. One day you can choose a shorter cross-border loop, the next ride to Landštejn and on the third plan a longer route towards Staňkov Pond or Slavonice.
